Our people are all passionate about sustainability and we apply and combine our different competences in a wide variety of interdisciplinary projects. We are anthropologists, environmental planners, political scientists, technologists, sociologists and economists, and we are highly skilled at understanding needs, creating relevant solutions and managing projects with a steady hand.
We changed our name from PlanMiljø to NORION in 2022 to reflect the broad, holistic approach to sustainability that both our competences and projects embrace. The name NORION - NORdic solutION - also reflects our Nordic connection, which is the very basis of our work. We come from the Nordic culture of innovation and sustainability. Whether we work in Denmark, the Nordics or internationally, we challenge existing knowledge and solutions in the local context with a Nordic perspective. This results in customised solutions that encapsulate all aspects of sustainability.

We approach every task with an interest in substance and the people behind it - and always with the desire to make a difference. We invent projects that match our ambitions and support the sustainability of society. We both implement projects with passion and innovation as well as continuously discuss how we can do it better.
People at the centre
We create solutions for people, with people. We inspire, motivate and involve - and aim for rooted and sustainable solutions. We accept and learn from our mistakes - it's part of our collective and individual development.
Integrity
We show in practice that we stand by our values: we take the environment seriously and we take our view of people seriously. This is reflected both when we solve tasks outside the building and in our daily work and socialising.

We create added value for the customer and for sustainability. We listen before we talk; we seek knowledge before we formulate the solution; we secure the process before we deal with the problem; we are creative before we let the problems slow us down; we aim for the goal rather than the partial results; we evaluate before we make decisions; and we insist on gains for the sustainability of society.
Internal development
We continuously train our employees to ensure that the company's competences develop and that employees' enthusiasm and enjoyment of their work is strengthened. We work together to identify relevant development topics for individual employees, and training takes place partly through internal training and project participation and partly through participation in external seminars and courses. We are open to new ideas, and we continuously discuss opportunities to expand the professional profiles.
Confidence and freedom
We have great and mutual confidence in everyone doing their best and therefore have minimal control and maximum dialogue. Employees have room to develop their own solutions to current challenges - and of course to develop new projects in collaboration with relevant partners.

We take the concept of quality seriously in a broad sense and invest time and thought in delivering services that exceed customer expectations. Our more than 400 successfully completed projects have provided a solid methodological base that - with continuous refinement and additions - ensures that all projects are based on proven yet innovative methods and approaches.

We involve our partners 100% in the task formulation and solution. We make sure there is room to complete the project to a quality that is satisfactory for both the customer and the employee.
