Behavioural Analysis and Design
Our behaviour plays a major role in the green transition – and changing it requires a significant shift in both mindset and culture. Yet numerous studies show that people are willing to act on the climate and biodiversity crisis we are facing.
At Norion, we help your company or organisation carry out behavioural studies that provide insight into people's actions and everyday practices. By analysing behaviour, we examine what influences it and which underlying mechanisms are at play. A behavioural study will give you an understanding of how best to reach the people you work with – and how to help them adopt the new practices needed to drive change in our society.
Who can benefit from behavioural analysis and design?
Behavioural analysis and design is relevant for companies, organisations and public sector actors who want to contribute to the green transition and need to engage citizens, employees or customers in sustainable behaviour. This might be the case if you are developing green products and services, implementing new policies, or facing behaviour change among your target groups. With behavioural insights, you can work in a more targeted way, increase the impact of your initiatives and minimise wasted resources.
How do we work?
We map and analyse people's behaviour, attitudes and perceived barriers in relation to sustainability. We combine qualitative methods – such as ethnographic interviews, field visits and participant observation – with co-creation formats like workshops and development labs. Based on these insights, we develop practical design interventions and tools that support new ways of acting. We also offer test design and prototype testing, allowing you to trial solutions in practice and learn what works. Our approach ensures that change moves beyond ambition and into everyday practice.
