Ronaldo Juma Jaoko is an environmental economist, policy research analyst, and Public-Private Dialogue practitioner with a strong background in economics. He has a Bachelors degree in Economics from Kenya and is now persuing a Masters degree in Environmental and Natural Resources Economics at the University of Copenhagen. His extensive experience in economic policy and governance has seen him play a pivotal role in shaping Kenya’s business environment through in-depth research, effective advocacy, and dynamic stakeholder engagement. Notably, he contributed significantly to the development of the Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) regulations, the Carbon Markets Guidebook, and the consolidation of ESG information for Kenyan enterprises. He is a DANIDA fellow and leader who has been instrumental in policy formulation, sustainability initiatives, and tree planting. He is also a published author.
