Julie Bundgaard

Julie works with the sustainable transformation of global value chains and is particularly passionate about making the textile industry more fair, circular, and responsible. She holds a PhD in Global Sustainable Production from the University of Southern Denmark and has worked on everything from lean processes and social audits in South Asian garment factories to worker wellbeing and policy recommendations on responsible production and consumption.

With experience from both academia and civil society, Julie knows how to translate complex analyses into practical solutions. She uses this expertise to advise manufacturers, companies, organisations, authorities, and policymakers on how ESG can be genuinely integrated into global value chains.

She thrives at the intersection where strategy meets reality – and especially enjoys creating understanding between those who implement sustainability initiatives and those who benefit from them.
